The UT27 was designed in consultation with worldwide trail racing organizations and weighs just 2.6 ounces, and its breathable, perforated headband stays comfortably in places and wicks away perspiration. You can choose between 3000K warm or 6000K cool white light in three levels plus an 800-lumen turbo setting, along with red light in flashing or constant-on modes. Power comes from a rechargeable battery pack or three widely available AAA cells, and the battery compartment is photoluminescent for easy battery changing in the dark. And here's a cool feature: turn on the light inside its translucent carry bag for a nice lantern for a tent or after-dark picnic table.
